Life and death is an issue that must be confronted by everyone. For reality, "Leaving the world" could be considered an end, yet it might be the beginning of a new realm. How to arrange "it" properly with due respect, and carry out the prevailing custom of "filial piety" is an issue that calls for our attention. In this sacred moment, what's said to "carefully attend to the funeral rites of parents with due sacrifices" is to make the funeral rite simple, dignified, and respected.

In view of the importance of mortuary services, we endeavour in enhancing the quality and facilities of mortuary services. In recent years, we have successfully undertaken the following tasks: the first to be granted the ISO-9002 international quality control certificate for funeral affairs on Jan. 25, 2000; provide the citizens with more cordial, convenient, and efficient services; proceed the projects of constructing two new cremators, two auditorium halls, and six family memorial rooms which makes the number of hardware facilities amounts to six cremators (one completed in Dec. 2005), five auditorium halls, and 18 family memorial rooms to meet the actual demand.

In an attempt to promote new environmental protection concept and cremation policy, from July 1, 2000, we offer free cremation service to the deceased Keelung residents. Annual spring and fall memorial ceremonies with sutras reciting are held regularly before the square of the memorial pagoda in Nanjung cemetery.

The creation of mortuary information system shall be a combination of innovation, practicability, and the times. Currently, we are striving for providing our residents with better computerized services. Should you have any comments, please do not hesitate to inform us.
